Privacy Policy

Effective August 18, 2026. This policy explains how Ridge Rock Builders handles information submitted through ridgerockbuilders.com and Ridge Rock Build Studio.

Information you choose to provide

We collect contact and project information you submit through the contact form or Build Studio, or provide to us by phone, such as your name, email address, phone number, land status, timing, project choices, notes, communication preferences, and requests for Ridge Rock review. A phone number is optional on the general contact form and required only when you choose to unlock Project Lab. No contact information is required to calculate or view the live planning range. Build Studio may also store project scenarios, revisions, preliminary ranges, and files you explicitly upload. When you save a project, only the landing pathname, referring origin and pathname, allowed UTM fields, and Google click identifiers may be attached so Ridge Rock can understand how the inquiry arrived.

Device-only drafts

Build Studio uses browser storage to preserve work you have not yet submitted. Local storage can hold project choices and recovery records. It may also hold a first-touch campaign record for up to 30 days containing only the landing path, referring origin and path, allowed UTM fields, and Google click identifiers. That record stays on the device until you save a project, is then attached to that project so Ridge Rock can understand the inquiry source, and is cleared from local storage after a successful save. The campaign record is not sent to OpenAI, Resend, or application logs. Starting over may retain one previous recovery copy so you can undo the reset; it is replaced by a later recovery copy and removed when you clear browser data or delete the related private project. Session storage holds a random submission-integrity value only for the current browser session. IndexedDB can temporarily hold one plan or image you select until it is uploaded, replaced, removed, or cleared through your browser. Browser drafts are designed to exclude your name, email, and phone number.

Private projects and files

Saved projects use time-limited private access and server-side records. Uploaded files are stored privately and encrypted before storage. Ridge Rock staff access is restricted to authorized accounts. A project and its files remain until the applicable retention date, which is based on the active retention setting and authenticated project activity, or until an approved deletion request is completed. A retained file displays its expiration date. Limited security, legal, delivery, or dispute records may be kept longer when reasonably necessary.

Optional assisted plan reading

A file is submitted for assisted reading or concept work only when you request that action. The service is used to organize project information; it does not set Ridge Rock pricing or make a decision about whether Ridge Rock will accept a project. We send only the data needed for the requested task to the service provider, use provider-side expiration controls where available, and remove retained results when the related file or project is deleted, subject to provider processing and legal obligations.

How we use information

  • Respond to inquiries, deliver requested project access, and send person-to-person calls or texts about a request.
  • Send recurring automated project updates or promotional text messages only after the separate consent required for that message type.
  • Create, calculate, save, revise, and support Build Studio projects.
  • Review customer-requested plans or project questions.
  • Operate security, abuse prevention, audit, delivery, retention, and recovery controls.
  • Measure public-site use and successful inquiry submissions while keeping contact and project details out of Google measurement.
  • Send optional marketing only after a separate affirmative choice; project-delivery messages do not require marketing consent.

Service providers and disclosure

We use service providers for hosting, storage, databases, email and text-message delivery, security, and optional AI processing. They process information for those services under their own terms and our configuration. We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect people or systems, investigate abuse, or complete a business transaction with appropriate safeguards. We do not sell personal information. We do not share mobile phone numbers, text-message opt-in data, or consent records with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Text-message delivery providers may process this information only to deliver and support Ridge Rock communications.

Cookies and measurement

Public pages use Google Analytics and Google Ads measurement to understand which pages are useful and when a Build Studio contact is successfully saved. Measurement storage is denied by default. Until you choose “Allow measurement,” Google can receive cookieless measurement signals but cannot set analytics or advertising storage through this site. If you allow measurement, the site enables analytics and advertising storage for measurement while keeping ad personalization disabled. Ridge Rock sends the page title and path and a generate_lead event after a successful contact save; it does not send names, email addresses, phone numbers, project selections, prices, uploaded files, private project links, access tokens, or URL query strings. Google measurement is not loaded on private Studio project, Studio administration, or API routes. Your privacy choice is stored only in this browser and can be changed from the “Privacy choices” control. Learn more in the Google Privacy Policy.

After you save or open a private project, two essential first-party cookies protect that session: an HTTP-only project-session cookie and a separate request-verification cookie. Both are Secure, SameSite=Lax, and expire after 30 minutes of inactivity.

Your choices and privacy requests

You can export or permanently delete an authenticated Build Studio project, delete individual retained files, decline assisted plan reading, unsubscribe from optional marketing, or clear device storage. You may also request access, correction, deletion, or another right available under applicable law by emailing info@ridgerockbuilders.com with “Privacy request” in the subject. Ridge Rock may verify your identity before acting. If applicable law gives you a right to appeal a denied request, use the same address with “Privacy appeal” in the subject. Some records may be retained when reasonably required for security, legal compliance, dispute resolution, or delivery reconciliation.

Calls, texts, and email

Submitting a project request asks Ridge Rock to respond about that request. A phone number is optional on the general contact form and required to unlock Project Lab. Providing a phone number allows Ridge Rock to respond about the request by telephone or person-to-person text, but it is not by itself consent to recurring automated or marketing calls or texts.

If you separately opt in, Ridge Rock may send recurring automated text messages for the categories identified in the consent disclosure, such as requested project updates or optional promotions. Marketing consent is not a condition of purchasing goods or services. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. We keep a record of the consent language, telephone number, date, time, method, and response so we can honor your choices. You may also withdraw consent by any other reasonable method.

Optional planning or promotional email requires a separate affirmative choice, is not required to view the live planning range or receive Project Lab access, and includes a way to unsubscribe.

Security and children

We use administrative and technical safeguards designed for the information we handle, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security. The site is intended for adults planning construction projects and is not directed to children under 13.

Accessibility

Ridge Rock aims to provide a website and Build Studio experience that works with keyboards, screen readers, zoom, reduced-motion settings, and other assistive technology, using WCAG 2.2 Level AA as the working standard. Accessibility is an ongoing practice, not a one-time claim. If a page or task creates a barrier, email info@ridgerockbuilders.com or call (512) 294-9579. Please identify the page and task; information about your browser or assistive technology is optional. Ridge Rock will work to provide the information or service through an accessible alternative while the issue is addressed.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy when the product, vendors, or legal requirements change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
