Ridge Rock app & project workspace
Ridge Rock app privacy policy
How we handle the information that keeps your project connected.
Effective September 10, 2026. This policy covers the Ridge Rock mobile app and the Ridge Rock OS workspace at app.ridgerockbuilders.com, operated for Ridge Rock Builders by Ridge Builders Inc. The public website and Build Studio have a separate privacy and cookie policy.

Information in your account and project
Ridge Rock staff and invited customers use accounts connected to their project permissions. Information comes from you, the Ridge Rock team, other authorized project participants, and connected services used to manage the work.
- Account and contact details: your name, email address, phone number where provided, account identifier, role, invitation and sign-in records, and project access.
- Project records: property addresses, schedules, progress updates, daily logs, selections, allowances, tasks, warranty requests, and related communications.
- Content you share: messages, notes, documents, photos, videos, and other attachments you or the project team add.
- Construction and financial records: estimates, contracts, change orders, signatures, invoices, payment amounts and status, and transaction references. Staff tools also handle relevant vendor, trade-partner, and business records.
- Technical and security information: request and activity logs, network information such as IP addresses, account identifiers, and app or operating-system versions. The iPhone app reports aggregate counts of crashes, hangs, and CPU or disk exceptions after an authenticated connection. The Android app reports the error type and a limited set of code-location details after a crash when an authenticated connection is next available. These reports include app and operating-system versions and are associated with your user identifier and role to help us diagnose problems.
We use this information to provide account access, coordinate construction, communicate with participants, process requested transactions, maintain records, provide support, investigate errors and abuse, and protect and recover the service.
Who can see project information
Access depends on the account role, project assignments, and visibility settings. Ridge Rock staff and other authorized project participants can see information made available to them. A message or shared attachment is available to its authorized recipients; it is not private to the sender alone. Please upload only information you are authorized to share.
Camera, photos, microphone, and reminders
The iPhone app requests camera, photo, or microphone access for media features you choose to use, such as adding project photos or recording video. You can decline or change these permissions in iPhone Settings; the affected capture or upload feature may then be unavailable. Selecting an existing photo or file is separate from recording new media.
The Android app uses the system camera and media or file pickers for content you choose to add. It does not request broad access to your photo library, microphone, contacts, or device location. Access to a selected file is limited by the Android picker and device settings.
Work reminders require notification permission. You can turn them off in your device Settings. Project addresses are part of the project record; the native iPhone and Android apps do not request continuous device-location access.
Service providers and connected tools
We use providers to deliver the workspace, including Cloudflare for hosting, databases, file storage, and service logs. Email and text-message providers deliver invitations and project communications. Authorized business integrations may exchange relevant project and financial records with accounting, document-storage, and backup services when configured by Ridge Rock.
- Payments: Stripe receives the email address, invoice reference, amount, and other information needed for hosted checkout. Payment credentials are entered on Stripe’s payment page, not into a Ridge Rock message or upload. Ridge Rock receives transaction references and payment results needed to reconcile the invoice.
- Electronic signatures: SignWell receives the document, signer name and email, and related request information. Completed documents and signature records can be returned to the project workspace.
- Ridge Rock AI: OpenAI processes employee requests, conversation history, and workspace context supplied for the task. Depending on the feature, that context can include project, customer, team, trade-partner, schedule, or estimate information. Document-assistance features can also send the selected document or image and relevant source context, such as invoice email details, for extraction or drafting. AI output is used to assist the work and can be inaccurate.
Provider processing is subject to the applicable service terms and our configuration. Do not include passwords, payment credentials, or unrelated sensitive information in AI requests or attachments. Contact us if you have questions about provider processing or want to request a non-AI alternative.
We do not sell personal information. We do not share mobile numbers or text-message consent records with third parties for their own marketing. We may disclose records when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect people or systems, resolve disputes, or carry out a business transaction with appropriate safeguards.
Device storage and website measurement
The iPhone app stores session credentials in the Keychain. The Android app encrypts session credentials, cached project data, and queued work using keys protected by Android Keystore. The apps keep local project data and queued work so some tasks can continue through an interrupted connection. Device copies and pending changes are not the same as server records. Signing out or removing the app does not delete the project’s server records or copies already shared with others.
The native iPhone and Android apps do not include advertising SDKs or use advertising identifiers. If you follow a link to the public Ridge Rock website, that website’s cookie and measurement disclosures and privacy choices apply. External payment, signing, and other provider pages have their own privacy notices.
Retention and deletion
RROS project records do not automatically expire when you sign out, finish a project, or remove the app. Records may remain necessary for construction administration, payment reconciliation, warranty service, security, legal obligations, or resolving claims. The retention needs of a signed contract or invoice differ from those of a temporary upload or diagnostic log.
You can request account closure and deletion of your personal information using the steps below. We review the request, verify identity where needed, and explain which records can be deleted and which must be retained and why. Closing access is not the same as deleting all associated business records. Shared records, provider records, and recovery copies may require separate handling; we do not promise immediate deletion from every copy.
Your choices and privacy requests
Email info@ridgerockbuilders.com with “Ridge Rock privacy request” in the subject to request access, correction, an available copy of your information, deletion, account closure, or withdrawal of consent. Use the email associated with your account and describe your request. Do not send your password or a sign-in code. You can also call (512) 294-9579 for help.
You can stop using optional media or AI features, change device permissions, and unsubscribe from optional marketing. Withdrawing permission does not undo processing already completed, and some information is necessary to provide your account or requested construction service. Where applicable law provides a right to appeal a denied privacy request, use the same email address with “Privacy appeal” in the subject.
Security, children, and policy changes
We use access controls and technical safeguards designed to protect the information we handle, but no service can guarantee absolute security. Ridge Rock is intended for staff and invited adult construction customers, not children under 13. We may update this policy as the service or our practices change; the effective date identifies this version.
